On January 23, 2020 Next Pathway was proud to be sponsoring a table at The Economic Club of Canada’s presentation of the Future of Work & The New Economy Series, featuring former US President Barack Obama as the special guest speaker.

This event is the first of a new series for The Economic Club of Canada. Features of the event included live music and spoken word, and a discussion with Barack Obama covering topics relating to the future of work, the health and well-being of the labour force, economic and environmental sustainability among other. The conversation was also focused on equality, inclusion and reconciliation, with the spotlight on intergenerational problem solving.

About 6000 youth leaders and entrepreneurs embraced the opportunity to attend the event and interact with Barack Obama.
