Next Pathway President Clara Angotti recently spoke with CTV National News on why it’s important for our government to create a prosperity plan for the Canadian innovation sector. She cites Canada falling from 20 to 22 on the Bloomberg Innovation Index as an important rallying point for progress. “I think that is a wake-up call for everybody to say we need to make some fundamental changes about how we’re treating our technology entrepreneurs,” she told CTV National News.
She, alongside Next Pathway CEO Chetan Mathur and 131 technology entrepreneurs from the Council of Canadian Innovators also published an open letter to the Prime Minister voicing the necessity for companies and government to work together to create an environment where Canadian innovation can thrive.
